The water resistant outer layer used to make these diapers is a new revolutionary breathable PUL. This means that it allows air in and vapors out when needed - meaning less diaper rash and a more comfortable baby! This PUL has been tested in a lab for water resistance and water proofness passing with flying colors. However, since it is a breathable PUL it will let water vapor out NOT water droplets. If this diaper is left on for too long and the insert becomes too saturated the vapors can cause clothing to feel damp. It is NOT leaking! It actually allows for a much better airflow than other PULs making for a healthier diaper system. Because the material allows air to flow through, Haute Pockets are a great choice for those who are prone to diaper rash.
